Programs Funded by Friends of the B+CS Public Library

 FoL funds support programming at the Carnegie History Center, the oldest Carnegie library in Texas that is still operating as a library. It houses an extensive genealogy collection, historical research materials, artifacts, records, and special collections, with a strong focus on local history archives. 

FoL funds online programs such as Pronunciator, a language learning tool.  

FoL has duplicated and fully funded the "1000 Books before Kindergarten" program at Mounce.

FoL helped fund the expansion of the library in 2019.  All summer reading programs are funded through a FoL grant to the BCS Library System.
